I'm a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at UC Berkeley. I expect to graduate in 2026 and am looking for jobs in the intersection of economics, policy and data science.
My independent research explores how transport infrastructure shapes development and segregation. For example, in a current project, I design a causal inference strategy to estimate the effects of highways. This strategy leverages a novel natural experiment and draws on modern econometric methods, graph theory, and GIS tools. This research is supported by the Berkeley Opportunity Lab. In my work (and sometimes outside of work), I use R and Python.
I have 6 years of experience teaching economics, quantitative methods, history and public policy to students from diverse backgrounds. In 2024-2025, I served as Co-President of Economists for Equity at Berkeley, a graduate student organization dedicated to supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds through mentorship, research grants, and community-building events.
Before starting my PhD, I received a BSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the LSE and worked at the Centre for Economic Performance.
